The archipelago of Our Lady Of the Rosario, commonly known as
The Rosario Islands is located 46 kilometers south east of the city of
Cartagena in the northern coast of Colombia. The Rosario Islands
cover an area of 120,000 hectares and are composed of 27 islands
surrounded by transparent and clear turquoise color water. The
islands have one of the most important colorful and beautiful coral
reefs in the Caribbean and an excellent area for snorkeling or scuba
diving. The islands were declared National Park due to the need to
protect the reefs, and associated ecosystems, mangroves, and the
many species of algae and animals that inhabit them.

A one hour boat ride through the Bay and open sea of Cartagena
via a safe high speed boat that fit about 25 people, a yatch, or a
catamaran will bring you to Paradise, as you discover the clear
turquoise waters and the white sand and spectacular beaches... The
contrast between the intense blue and green sea and white-sand
beach, puts anyone to dream.

discover the natural resources of each. The island is also
surrounded by clear turquoise waters. You can also find island
resorts to spend a night or as many as you want.  There is also a
day trip where you can enjoy the beach, the sun, a typical lunch is
included in most day trips. If you decide to spend a day, make sure
to choose one of the beautiful sites within the Big Island or the
surround islands.
